The first festival of Theatre in Two Weeks (New Writing Showcase) in co-production with the Theatre of Displaced People

​Three Playwrights. Three Directors. Three plays. Two weeks. 

From the 1st until the 14th of December 2018, three of Ukrainian New Drama's top playwrights (Maksym Kurochkin, Anastasia Kosodii and Natalia Blok) together with young directors from Ukraine and Britain (Dmytro Zakhozhenko, Piotr Armianovskii and Daisy Hayes) team up to create three dynamic, challenging and entertaining plays that will be performed on the stages of PostPlay Theatre and IZONE. The plays were created from scratch and address the Ukraine we live in today. The theme of this first festival is "Silence isn't Golden". Before the 2019 elections, our festival gave theatre professionals the freedom, space and intensity to laugh, scream, cry and reflect on the joys and sorrows of what we are and what we wish to become.
