The Orchard

“There, in that orchard, the years between us dropped away.”

Katya feels trapped. Her grandmother is ill and losing her memory. Every Saturday Katya retreats to a little garden on the hill behind her flat, in order to get some distance. Little does she know, she couldn’t have chosen a place closer to her.

The play is inspired by the family stories of the cast and contains some documentary material.

“The Orchard” is a play about the things dearest to us: family, falling in love, and saying goodbye. It is a part of an exciting new project between Drama.UA and Jack Clover.
